WILLIAMS STREET REPERTORY

A woman in period costume kneels on stage, looking intense, while a man in worn clothes sits behind her. Text beside them promotes Williams Street Repertory at Raue Center for the Arts, highlighting live, diverse theatre.

WSRep is returning to Raue Center For The Arts.

A new chapter of professional theatre at Raue Center begins

This next chapter begins with a series of intimate, invitation-only experiences—readings, conversations, and special gatherings that bring audiences closer to the art and the artists.

And this is just the beginning.

We’re already laying the groundwork for a bold return to full productions, including a 2027 staging of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Stay tuned. Be part of what’s next.

THEATRE BUILDS COMMUNITY. COMMUNITY BUILDS THEATRE.

After a long hiatus, Williams Street Repertory (WSRep) returns to the stage with a special FREE abridged reading of Heidi Schreck’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-nominated play “What the Constitution Means to Me”—a taste of what’s to come as WSRep looks toward 2027.

“What the Constitution Means to Me” is a funny, moving, and thought-provoking exploration of the U.S. Constitution through Schreck’s personal history and her family’s experiences. Blending humor, history, and personal storytelling, the play asks what the Constitution means to us today—and who it truly protects.
