As a non-profit, 40% of our annual budget comes from charitable contributions. 

Your support and participation help provide the resources necessary to sustain our education programs, artists, and staff, so that we may continue our work. 

All proceeds benefit Raue Center’s fine arts education programs, Mission Imagination and Raue Center School For The Arts, which have been enriching the lives of over 20,000 kids a year in the local community since 2001. Your support will help provide summer camp programming, student scholarships for classes and workshops, and–through Mission Imagination–a real theater experience for entire classrooms across McHenry County.

URGENT APPEAL

For the past 23 years, Raue Center for the Arts has been a cornerstone of Crystal Lake’s vibrant community, providing exceptional performances and programs while also contributing to the local economy by drawing over a million patrons from McHenry County and beyond.

Our commitment to enriching the lives of those who walk through our doors has always been central to our mission. Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve made a lasting impact.

However, we are currently facing an urgent challenge.

Due to ongoing issues with the ownership of our building, many of the grants and funding we depend on have been delayed. Without these crucial resources, we are struggling to sustain our programs and avoid potential staff layoffs.

We have already implemented significant cost-cutting measures, but we need your support to bridge this gap and ensure the future of Raue Center. We are aiming to raise critical funds by late October to prevent further program cuts and layoffs.
