Veterans Program

Veterans Program

To embrace, engage and encourage our veteran community through the power of the arts.

Raue Center would like to extend a special thank you to all of our veterans in our community! As we strive to continually engage our community, we want to provide a special offer for those who have sacrificed more than we know. Many veterans have returned or are returning to a completely different “everyday” and the adjustments can be extremely difficult.

As the leading Performing Arts Center in McHenry County, Raue Center for the Arts wants to support our veterans and ensure they are a celebrated part of the community by providing opportunities to enjoy live music, comedy, and professional theatre.

Raue Center has set aside a select amount of complimentary seats for select performances. If you know a veteran who would enjoy a night of live entertainment, please contact Raue Center’s Box Office at 815.356.9212 for more details and to schedule a night out at the theater.   We might also be able to provide certificates for drinks and food either at the theater or one of our amazing sponsors like 1776 Restaurant and or Georgio’s Pizzeria and Pub.

If you are a vet or are a family member of a vet please register with Raue Center.  If in the unlikely, event that all complimentary seats are committed Raue Center would offer a 25% discount to all vets (some restrictions do apply).

Registration is easy:

Send us your name, contact info and a copy of your DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, generally referred to as a “DD 214“, is a document of the United States Department of Defense, issued upon a military service member’s retirement, separation, or discharge from active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States, e.g., U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, or U.S. Navy.

Refund/Exchange Policy
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Raue Center does not offer refunds on tickets purchased even if the performance is canceled or postponed. In the event of cancellation due to acts of god or weather, Raue Center will strive to reschedule the event but it is clearly understood that the cancellation might not be possible with the Artist. In the event the performance cannot be rescheduled, a credit for a future Raue Center show(s) will be issued. Please contact the Box Office for more information.
