Let’s get the pens moving and add to our writer’s toolbox. This class will focus on developing scenes as stand-alone pieces that are the building block of any screenplay. We will focus on the interplay between character, setting, conflict, dialogue, and the like as we world-build one scene at a time. Students should bring a computer, tablet, pen and paper, or whatever modality of writing you prefer.
