Join us for this fun storytelling course developed specifically for adults 60+. In Encore Acting: Storytelling, we will focus on the interactive art of creating, recalling, and telling stories. Through the study of story development, students will fashion stories to share and will explore how to bring characters and stories to life. An understanding and appreciation of the craft of the storyteller is gained through development, writing, presentation, and critical feedback, as well as lively discussion and participation. This class will culminate in a final showcase of stories for friends and family. “After nourishment, shelter, and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.” by Philip Pullman
