Naomi and Nicole warmly invite you to join their upcoming workshop, where watercolor and mixed media come alive through playful exploration and creativity. Naomi Zagt (Artist) is an award-winning mixed media artist from Illinois with a background in fine arts. For over ten years, she has produced paintings influenced by nature, utilizing stylized lines, patterns, and bold colors. Naomi studied at Peck School of the Arts in Milwaukee, WI, where she developed her artistic technique. Her work, which often features landscapes, florals, and wildlife, has been displayed in various Chicago galleries and exhibitions. She works with acrylic and mixed media and watercolor and aims to assist students in expressing themselves and exploring different artistic approaches.

Nicole Javvaji (Artist) is a local artist, specializing in watercolor paintings and murals inspired by the natural world. Nicole served as the in-house artist for Da Vinci Waldorf School, where she created large-scale chalkboard artwork studied and deepened her understanding of color, mood and storytelling through Waldorf’s unique approach to watercolor. She has led a variety of adult workshops, including a monthly art meet-up for moms. With a background in elementary education and years of experience teaching art to all ages, Nicole creates a relaxed and welcoming space to unwind, explore techniques and enjoy the process of making art.
