Comedy Line up for the 2018-19 Season
NOV 16 @ 8:30p
The evening’s Headliner will be Larry Reeb: Known as Uncle Lar’, Larry Reeb is the wise-cracking black sheep, politically incorrect relative everyone knows. Like any concerned relative Uncle Lar’ wants to help. So in his own twisted way he does. He gives you “tips”. Uncle Lar’ offers tips on everything from marriage to lotteries to children. Always topping them off with, “That’s a tip from your Uncle Lar’.”
Uncle Lar’ is a regular on “The Bob & Tom Show”, syndicated in over 100 markets. Larry has been voted Chicago Comedian of the Year and has made numerous television and radio appearances.
This Lucy’s will feature Erik Scott: Erik Scott grew up in a cornfield in Central Illinois and now resides in Chicago, he’s still getting used to how tall the buildings are. Erik began doing stand up during college and after graduation decided to pursue comedy as a career, partly due to the fact that Cinema Studies majors don’t have the best job placement. Erik has performed at clubs and colleges all over the country and is a writer for the hit radio show Bob and Tom. When not traveling he can be seen at one of the several shows he helps produce in Chicago. His quick wit and “Midwest Charm” make him very relatable and an audience favorite.
The evening will be hosted by Brian Williams: Brian Williams has spent the last 4 years launching his stand-up and improv careers. He has brought his witty presence to the stages of Second City, IO, Zanies and Lucy’s.
WGN Radio personality, John DaCosse, curates Lucy’s Comedy Cafe. During his 30+ years in stand-up comedy, the brilliant John DaCosse has developed a solid reputation nationwide. He has opened for big names like Ellen DeGeneres, George Lopez, Craig Ferguson and Billy Gardell. John has appeared on NBC, Comedy Central and TBS. Mr. DaCosse has also served as an audience warm-up for Rosie O’Donnell and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He can be heard, along with his character voices, regularly on the Steve Cochran morning show on WGN Radio.
