Kalcks Ultimate Rib Recipe
by Kalcks Butcher Shop
3 slabs of pork baby back ribs from Kalck's
1 can of beer or 1 1/2 c. or water
seasonings of choice (garlic, salt, pepper, or favorite all salt)
BBQ sauce, we recommend DL Jardines 5 Star or Uncle Dougies
Preheat oven to 300 F. Place ribs in a good size pan with sides, such as jelly roll pan or a good size baking dish. Season ribs with seasoning and pour beer or water into the pan. Do not pour over the meat as you will wash the seasonings off of them. Cover the pan with foil. Bake in your preheated oven for 3 hours. Uncover, and baste sauce every 15 minutes for an additional 45 minutes. Your ribs should melt in your mouth. A word to the wise; never boil your ribs in water before cooking on the grill or the oven. You are putting all your flavor in the water and pouring it down the drain.
NOTE: Kalck's has about 30 different varieties of BBQ sauce to choose from.
