Friends of the Raue
Friends of the Raue is a new membership program open to everyone. With an annual, minimal membership fee of $25 and a sense of goodwill, you will become an important part of Raue Center’s community relations and fundraising efforts.
The group will hold monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. At these meetings members will learn about all the ongoing projects. Sample projects members may be asked to participate in:
- Staff local expos and fairs
- Staff and help coordinate Raue Center receptions
- Participate in local events such as Johnny Appleseed, Chocolate Fantasy, etc.
- Collaborate with Raue Staff and Board of Directors for social events
- Give theatre tours
- Write letters to the editor
- Attend chamber mixers
- Help with fundraising events like the Bob Blazier Run and Stargazers Ball
- Assist with e-newsletter
This group is different than the Raue Center Volunteer program in that they do not receive points and are asked to actively and independently participate in projects throughout the year.
